De Apostolis Ant.

O cohors miliciæ floris virgæ non spinatæ,

tu sonus orbis terræ,

circuliens regiones insanorum sensuum,

epulantium cum porcis,

quos expugnasti per infusum adiutorem,

ponenentem radices in tabernacula

pleni operis verbi Patris.

Tu etiam nobilis es gens Salvatoris,

intrans viam regenerationis aquæ per Agnum,

qui te misit in gladio inter sævissimos canes,

qui suam gloriam destruxerunt,

in operibus digitorum suorum,

statuentes non manufactum

in subiectionem manuum suarum,

in qua non invenerunt eum.

De Apostolis Resp.

O lucidissima Apostolorum turba,

surgens in vera agnitione,

et aperiens clausuram magisterii diaboli,

abluendo captivos in fonte viventis aquæ,

tu es clarissima lux in nigerrimis tenebris,

fortissimumque genus columnarum,

sponsam Agni sustentans

in omnibus ornamentis ipsius,

[R] per cuius gaudium

ipsa mater et virgo est vexillata.

Agnus enim immaculatus est Sponsus

ipsius Sponsæ immaculatæ.

Antiphon for the Apostles

O warrior cohort of the thornless flower,

Your sound fills the world,

Circling regions where mad senses rave,

Feasting with swine,

These regions you stormed through the helper infused in you,

Planting roots in the tabernacles

Of the perfect work of the Father's word.

You are also the noble lineage of the Savior,

Entering on the way of rebirth by water through the Lamb,

Who sent you with a sword among the most savage dogs,

They destroyed their own glory

With the works of their fingers,

Setting the creature not made with hands

In subjection to the work of their hands,

And in this they did not find him.

Responsory for the Apostles

O most luminous band of Apostles,

Arising in true knowledge,

And opening the enclosure of the devil's teaching,

Washing his captives in a fountain of living water:

You are the most radiant light in the blackest darkness,

And a most powerful set of columns

Supporting the Lamb's bride

In all her ornaments.

[R] Through his joy,

She is mother and standard-bearing virgin.

For the immaculate Lamb is the Bridegroom

Of his immaculate Bride.
